Prince Santiago is a Filipino bassist who studied and graduated with Certificate in Music, Diploma in Creative Performing Musical Arts (June 2019) and currently taking up Bachelors of Music Major in Double Bass at the University of the Philippines, one of the prestigious music schools in the Philippines.

 

Because of his talent He has been invited to play at the 500 th year of reformation anniversary in Berlin, Germany and he also played at the Maranatha Ministries church in Amsterdam, Netherlands last October 2017.

 

He is now a double bassist at the University of the Philippines University Orchestra where he

plays classical music under the leadership of Chino Toledo, well-known composer not only in the Philippines but also globally when it comes to modern music. Prince is also the electric bassist of Project 201 Big band where he plays Jazz and big band music under the baton of Michael Guevarra, a well-known Saxophonist in the Philippines. Prince studied under Professor Rommel Cruz a well-known bassist, instructor, and a musician of the Philippine Philharmonic Orchestra.

 

Throughout Prince’s career he also worked with some of the famous artists/singers in the

Philippines like Gerphil Flores, Basil Valdez, Kuh Ledesma and many more. He attended a master class by Michel Veilon, a great bassist from Switzerland.

 

Prince also took up minor in Piano while he was studying at the University; he is also a

keyboardist at Word of Hope Christian Family Church that conducts Musicals, Drama, and Cantata.
